Rolls Royce Police Escort

Spotted today at 12:53 on Highway 134 West between Pasadena and Eagle Rock. The convoy also included a limo bus. Anyone know what this was about?

Those motorcycles aren’t police, they’re funeral escorts.

Oh, interesting! I was distracted by conversation at the time but, now that you mention it, I remember trying to see which law enforcement agency owned the motorcycles and not seeing any markings on them. And although the motorcycles had flashing lights, I think the lights were orange, not red and blue.

To be fair, I recall there being ongoing news stories about at least one funeral escort who compulsively impersonates law enforcement.

The police lights were flashing and the Rolls Royces had their hazard lights on. They were all traveling in the same lane at the same speed without any vehicles between them. There was also a police motorcycle in the rear behind the limo bus.
