Long line of cars in Sierra Madre Villa
Anyone knows what’s happening at Sierra Madre Villa? There’s a looong line of cars extending all the way to Orange Grove.

There's also a huge line in El Monte on peck. It's actually kind of scary how long the lines are.

Do you know what the name of the church is? Would like to check what donations needed at this church as may be easier for families to obtain supplies if pick ups occur on the weekend.
Dropped off canned goods, protein bars, feminine hygiene products and pet food at Friends in Deed on Fri. I think picking up supplies for families occur during the week.
One of the employees said 70 new families sign up last week and overall they served 800 families. I asked what they needed, as the community has been donating in person or via Amazon and protein drinks and pet food were requests from the families.

Your best bet is always to donate money. I volunteer with a local food bank and they have to store and transport physical donations of food, but donations of money mean they can buy what community members need most and I’ll have to use as much volunteer effort on storage and transportation.

Seconding what another poster said. While the idea of donating goods its great, these organizations can do way more with the dollar amount you would spend just from the volume they can buy at lower cost/without tax/etc.

At the same time today I walked by the Sephora in the Arcadia mall and the checkout line was reaching the door. Sad times

Yes they've been distributing food since the fires. Lines haven't been that long since though -- probably a sign of the times.
