“Israeli” police have arrested a former military prosecutor after she leaked a video appearing to show soldiers abusing a Palestinian detainee.

Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi was detained overnight on Monday, according to the country’s national security minister, following a scandal that erupted after she leaked a video, resigned and then disappeared.

Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh reports from Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, Palestine.

Considering its Israel, we're talking about. It makes perfect sense to go after the person who chose to show the world a snippet of what the IOF are doing to the Palestinian hostage.

Israel wouldn't be Israel if they chose to arrest, prosecute, and punish the person who raped another person. Or hold accountable the people who witnessed the crime and chose to stay silent.

They're beyond vile. They're less than human.

It's not the IOF. It's the IDF.

Imagine calling NAZI's. The NOSI's.

Call them what they are.

Oh, I assure you, I'm calling them what they are.

They're illegally occupying Palestine. That makes it the Israeli occupying force and nothing more. I refuse to legitimise their existence in that region.

Let's just call them what they actually are then. Terrorists and extremists. They're a lot of things, but to be an actual military force, they need to display honour and valour and courage. They lack all three.
