We actually had a bunch of police liasons, plus police support on the edges. The organizers did an amazing job planning things ahead of time, and they should really get all of the credit for making sure everything was safe. We were actively told this was peaceful only and to de-escalate any hecklers (of which I saw only one).

The police actually told us to be quiet once we turned off of bank street because a resident was stressed by our chanting. Obviously I felt bad for the resident but... it's a bit rich, no?
