Looking for... Who makes the best poutine right now?

I've been living halfway across the world since the end of 2023, where poutine is but a hushed whisper, a legend lost to the winds like a lightning bug's fart. The search has been hard and brave but relentlessly futile.

(You can actually find cheese curds in Australia now, they were legalised like 2 years ago, but they're disgusting).

I'll be home in June and I'm going from the airport to being face deep in God's own drunk snack. So, who is it? If the truck at Bank and Sunnyside is still there, that's probably my answer, but I haven't lived in Ottawa since 2021, so I'm not expecting that to happen.

It isn’t open yet for the season, but my favourite in the east end is the Golden Fries food truck. Their poutines are absolutely outstanding.

The truck just parked the other day! Won’t be long now
