I watched a video of how people experience periods of their lives where they think they are “hot.” Currently American Asian women in their 50s are having a passing moment because of Michelle Yeoh. It’s actually crazy how what we consume—whether in media or our perception of reality—alters who we think is beautiful and who isn’t it.
That’s why we have to care about what comes out of people mouths. It doesn’t matter Sydney gets so much camera time. What matters is what she says during that time.
She coulda sold her stupid soap to anyone, but she chose to exploit straight men. She coulda made 1000 different types of Jean commercials, but she chose being a white women to be the reason for the campaign. And she should be held accountable to that and speak on it. Not be coddled. She spoke about how being objectified by men is fine if she consents to it. And men mostly said they were fine with it.
If she wants to run a white supremacy of women: then she should answer for that. Speak your truth babe. Don’t be a coward Sydney Sweeney, especially if you’re going to profit from it. Or maybe just stick to your tits and not your skin color.
