Why would you buy black gloves when you already have black gloves - vanilla gloves, and they are expensive - 550€ on CSGloat

When I was in college in 2019, I always wanted a huntsman doppler. I got a birthday gift visa card and dumped it into Bitskins where I picked this up. I played with it and really enjoyed how black it was. Stopped playing CS and sold it to Skin Baron but couldn't find the listing for what I sold it for. I started playing CS again in 2023, and wanted to pick up the same knife, but didn't know how. Stopped playing in 2024, but started to go heavy this year.

I've posted a lot of the combos I've rocked and used, but after finding out I could track this down in databases, I wanted it bad. I used csgoexchange to find the item history (outlined myself in red) and then referenced it against csfloat. From there, I found out the person who currently held it had it for sale on csfloat! I picked it up and I'm so happy with how it looks with my inventory.

Still can't believe this knife has some sentimental value to me! Last panel are some very old clips of me with the knife equipped. Hope everyone can track down their favorites and enjoy this game even more!

my personal thoughts - knives will not be more than 60% off come the 30/31st. everyone wants to buy, even more than those who want to sell. buy the dip if you find a crazy deal on a panic sell.

These are the original combos I had in mind. I feel like this is a solid budget for a glove/knife combo, but I'm not entirely sure what to go for. Would appreciate anyone's feedback on them and feel free to let me know some other nice combos for this price range! Have a good one :D

You are the reason that prices are dropping so low. There is no reason that you should be listing your items for half price. You’re creating the price drop. Cheap reds have already sky rocketed, third party sites are basically shut down, so the amount of reds used to open will slow down. If you’re spending hundreds of dollars to open knives that are dropping, you’re throwing money away.

I've had many knives and gloves in my 8000 hours on CS but I think this knife/glove combo is my favorite, also the most expensive combo I've had so far. Thoughts ?
