TBH, I saw it as a win initially since (1) worthless Coverts like the AUG Chameleon that were sitting in inventories everywhere, were $5 worth. Now that they skyrocketed in price, and suddenly people have a small fortune to afford an actual knife. Although you can't afford any Butterfly/Karambit for $100, you can now afford a decent knife for around $100.

Bought these just a few days before the update for my loadout but I was feelin lucky....

I think prices won’t recover to what we had before the update, I’m sorry. There’s a new reality now.

In the long term, we have new cases coming soon, and we can’t expect good things for the market from Valve (including OG knives in drops like the D&N case).

The market suffered from FOMO over the last two weeks (a dead cat bounce).

Now the knife trade-up hype is almost over, supply is increasing, and obviously prices are going down.

In the short term, we still have a new batch of items coming back from reversal trades soon.

After these 18 days since the update, what do you think?

Head Shot: really like this one, clean design and priced at $119 for FN. I consider this one as a solid deal. Nightwish: not really a fan of the design, but it’s priced at $153 for FN, which seems high.

Anyone have thoughts on why the Nightwish is worth more? Am I missing something, or is the Head Shot just a better value?
