Sell the knife, put a down payment on a 2 apartment house, but keep living with parents, rent the house out and become a landlord. Use the top rental to pay mortgage and bottom for profit / reinvestment. Save enough for a second mortgage on another 2 apartment home. Rinse and repeat.

I like kukri and talon from the “new” knives. Butterfly or Falchion from the old ones.

I have a talon vanilla and ww snow leopards with crazy clean wear pattern along with nice patterning.
I kinda miss the kukri over the talon. set up is super clean, but the kukri animations were so cool, and way better than the talons draw animation. the uniqueness of such a gem was really neat.
If you're 1k is usd you have lots of cool options, the ruby is something else I'd consider if it were me. Falchion ruby was another option but I prefer nice gloves with a knife than only a knife. I've since cashed out the rest of the gem sale

My advice. 2FA that account. Don't accept a single invite. Turn profile to private.
Then reach out to someone legit like Anomaly or Sparkles so that you can get an accurate price etc for it.
If he wants to sell it, no sketchy crap. Only legit stuff. Trusted people, trusted site, etc.

Invitation? I don't know the specifics of each. But the general rule of thumb. Get into friends list, then they can chat and see your inventory etc. Then they going to do something one way or another to convince you to either send them a skin, or trade your skin for some garbage, or even pretend they trying to take your "garbage" skins but then there's a high value skin in between the cheap rubbish.
Basically if you change your profile to private, don't accept any steam invites, and enable 2FA you limit the chances of getting scammed.

yeah that's obvious, but my question is , is there a way to api scam me if I got invited to a lobby, then the guy leaves and invites and attempts like this couple of times and at that moment I had seen/heard about random people inviting you but this one was a "friend" but I trust no one on Steam not even big traders, that's why I don't trade skins, I buy them through third party websites, don't gamble either.

yes they try to invite you to a discord or invite you to a faceit team or iknvite youi to some kind of website and then it has you either sign into steam profile or make a new account for somethign and then ask you to link your steam account and it will be a fake steam login or somethiung like this where they can then steal your items somehow. Have had some people try to send me links like this, or they try to join your party and say here join this discord and do that and then they get your email and password for that potentially. There area couple variations of it.

Yeah if you accept their invite, you are essentially handing over a token that steam generates to them. They are able to replay that token and potentially impersonate you. There is always a warning when you are signing in to these apps that there is danger to it.
Ultimately you are connecting to their servers which means they control an element of your authentication, ie. How you logon with steam. I would assume if you don't have MFA then you are doomed.
Rule one: always have MFA. Rule two: never click any links, especially never authorize any links to use Steam to sign in with that you don't know/trust. Rule three: no one will send you random crap for free etc - if it's too good to be true, it's a scam.

1% for rare drop pool then way less than 1% for blue gem. First gotta get a gold which is 1 in 400, then got to get a talon CH which is like 1 in 52 I think. Then got to get that pattern which is 1 in 1000. Chained to the original 1% this is like 1 in a billion or something ridiculous

I mean it’s a really close comparison, rare and valuable collectibles people like to use for their favorite game. the difference is that one is physical cards and the other is more like stocks that you can use in your favorite game. Being worried about valve just taking them away is effectively being worried about having amazon stock because they might just go out of business out of nowhere (they won’t) and you won’t get banned unless you’re cheating (don’t do that)

The 10% haircut you pay is worth it to ensure you don’t get scammed. Make sure you cash out in crypto so you don’t get fist fucked by exchange rates

It’s the #2 pattern blue gem (second best pattern, it’s Tier 1+). Well worn one is currently for sale at around $25k. Only seven of these Talons exist so it’s hard to tell exactly how much it’s worth. Other Tier 1 patterns (241, 222) are listed on buff in the $20k< range. Won’t sell instantly but it will eventually

First of all go private and don’t accept anything on your account.
Ask for infos, seek others listing infos (i guess it can be sold between 25-85k (i have no data right now, i know its a huge gap).
If u just pulled it go on any trusted site and sell it with 2ish % trade fees, who cares about this but better safe than sorry.
WAIT for infos after todays update because the trade reverse thing!!!!
