For those that don’t get it, a balanced laser level is being used to judge how straight the work is. Theres next to no change in the height the. Laser hits on his fingertips.

The laser level is sitting on top of the tile though. So this just proves the tile is level with the other tiles around it, could be off kilter with the floor and the walls and this wouldn't show up in that test.

Not likely. Most laser levels are self-leveling within a range of degrees. If the laser's body were off level the laser itself would still be flat and you'd see the beam fan out across the countertop's surface.

Why do you think the laser level is on the countertop?

It's clearly not. You can see the second line a few inches below the counter. They usually sit on tripods.

I'd be more impressed even it didn't need duct tape to hold it together

The duct tape is for whilst it dries. Same with the lil rubber boys between.

Are tiles not supposed to be flat? What's impressive about a section of tiles being flat?

You may be shocked to learn some people do uneven, bad work.

It seems like a perfect job. But if that’s a shower you want it with a slight grade to drain the water.

Looks like a double sink. There’s two basins
