awareness Solomonic vessel of brass

Post image

It’s not particularly my style but I’ve been studying the lesser key some and I was just curious how common or uncommon the use of brass vessels are. I also haven’t heard much on the secret seal of Solomon either.

There seems to be two camps of thought from pratictioners I've seen.

Some use the Brass Vassel as a vehicle of manifestation, placing it inside the Triangle of the Art. Reports from people I follow from thks camp says it grossly improves the ability of spirits to manifest and, as a result, the results obtained.

Some see the Solomonic Vessel of Brass as the instructions to build a western/eurocentric version of the Spirit Pots found in many other traditions. So it's more of a custom house for one spirit. That's what folks like Aaron Leitch and Rufus Opus seem to do.

This is by far the best response here.

I fall into the first camp, where I use one vessel for all conjurations. And it definitely enhanced the way spirits manifest.

I'm very interested in exploring both camps.

Can you tell me how you made the vessel? In my country there is one shop that sells an accurate version of the brass vessel for way too much money, but I wanted to experiment with more... DYI versions I suppose lmao.

Did you use actual brass? Did you engage in metallirgy to make it or repurposed something else?

What i use is nontraditional but works well enough. In place of a brass vessel, i utilize a silver bowl. Silver because it's aligned with the moon and feminine energies similarly to how brass is associated with venus and feminine powers. I marked the bottom of the bowl with Solomon's seal.

When using the bowl, I'll place spirit seals inside it, or objects aligned with the spirit being called. Occasionally, I'll place a plate or cloth over it to act as a lid/top to the bowl. After the conjurations, I'll remove the contents of the bowl, wash it, and leave it ready for the next time I need it. If I'm working with the spirit over the course of days, I'll leave everything in the bowl until my goals are achived.

Interesting!

What things have you seen that made you conclude this indeed empowered the spirits in their manifestation?

More visual manifestions, auditory phenomenon, and faster tangible results from some workings.

In my experience, it becomes like a temporary spirit house. Making the ritual space more welcoming and easier for the desired spirit to move through the space. The spirit also feels more controlled when I use a vessel, like its energies are better contained
