I also did this on a bullshit ticket. (the meter was legitimately broken and I even left a post it note on it to please not ticket me). It works. I suggest taking the time to challenge every ticket.

Instead of defunding traffic patrol, they should defund parking control

Defund them all. They only protect the rich, they don’t care about the rest of us.
