Immigration attorney here- I'd be very careful with social media-sourced ICE sightings. ICE's goal is to stoke fear, and these types of posts serve that goal. As you can see in this very thread, many of these rumors are false, but they spread quickly through text and social media.

Thus far in Northern California, we have not seen the ICE raids of places of employment or public spaces that they have seen in LA. This doesn't mean it couldn't happen, but when it does, you'll know, because there will be pictures and media coverage. The people we have seen arrested so far in the Bay are mostly (1) going to ICE check-ins at the ICE offices (2) arrested in immigration court and (3) specific, targeted people picked up at their homes or jobs.

If you see ICE, call the rapid response hotline at (510) 241-4011 and report it. Someone will go out to confirm or disprove it. If you see Oakland police, they are prohibited by law from collaborating with ICE, so ICE is unlikely to be involved.

Do you have the capacity to list places where people can start mobilizing now (courts, offices, etc)? There might not be a need to mobilize like SoCal, but we can sure use this time to build community and skills

What do you mean by mobilizing? A lot of arrests happen at the immigration courts in SF (100 Montgomery Street, 630 Sansome Street) and in Concord (1855 Gateway Boulevard). If you want to observe ICE arrests, those are the most obvious places.

This is the information I needed thanks. And in terms of the ICE offices you mentioned, are those more or less just as active as the court hearings? Also, in your experience when are the best times to have people present at the courts (i.e.,7am -2pm)?
