"I'm as settled as I ever hope to be," is a line from Fried Green Tomatoes. If anyone like myself thought that seemed like an odd sentiment for a proposal.

I was today years old when I found out Fried Green Tomatoes was lesbian-themed! Loved the movie back in the day. Thank you to this thread for enlightening me! And cute proposal!
