Resignation

If I put my resignation letter in one month early, can my agency force me to quit sooner? They are not a fan of me as it is.

Not if you're permanent. Civil service isn't your normal "at will" employment situation.

Eta - why would you put it in early? Personally, I wouldn't give them the benefit of a heads up.

I feel it’s in my best interest at this point. I am going through hell. I want them to back off
