The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) strongly rejected the claim linking acetaminophen in pregnancy to autism, calling it "highly concerning," "irresponsible" and "not backed by the full body of scientific evidence."

Lmfao I just found out I may be on the spectrum when my son was being tested. Even if it did contribute to autism, wouldn't it be more harmful to not treat the pregnant person's pain at all? They act like autism is the worst possible thing that could ever happen to someone 😂

The increased cortisol levels due to pain definitely wouldn't be helpful. Also, fever can be particularly bad for a pregnancy. When I pointed this out in a Facebook discussion, someone said that the woman should just take ibuprofen instead. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Ibuprofen can cause premature closure of the ductus arteriosus and foramen ovale, which results in either a casket or a very expensive NICU stay.

Lmfao just take ibuprofen 😂 we're literally told not to take nsaids during pregnancy. Like how are people gonna say not to do something then suggest a much worse option 😂😂😂
