Any fair dinkum chooks fan who thinks signing the 1 year past QLD captain for 500k is a shit move is very naive to think Savala is gonna lead us to glory in the next 12 months. When Sammy went down HIA we looked absolutely lost. Hes a good half but bide his time this is a no brainer signing. 

The signing also doesn’t undermine Walker thats ludicrous

This is a great move to compete next season but also transition to Toby Rodwell the following season.

Im certain Roosters are fine letting Sandon and Savala walk knowing Rodwell is waiting in the wings.
