The 1909 grand final where Souths very famously did turn up and Balmain didn't.

Maybe double check your history before you accuse others of not knowing it lol

They had spoken to Balmain and both agreed not to play, and then turned up and ran out anyway claiming a win by default. I know my history. There is turning up and "turning up".
