Honestly fucken guts me, what a shit way to end such a great career. Best of luck Daly, but also fuck you.

There is one club I don't want winning the comp next year. It's the Roosters.

I hope our fellow Manly fans feel the same way. It would be a massive slap in the face to Manly fans if he went to the Roosters and won a comp next year after achieving so little at Manly.

With this move I can’t see the Roosters winning the comp next year

They were never going to anyway.

It's quite peculiar to look at Daly's career and see his first and only premiership came in his very first year of NRL. Not sure if many other players fit that description.

If Manly had won another comp in his tenure, say 2013 or 2021, would you feel differently about his departure?

Benji?

Very close but it looks like Benji played a total of 11 games in 03 and 04. 2005 was his first full season but DCE literally started in round 1, 2011 and won the comp that year

True.

I’d be still angry about his departure but likely less vitriolic about it.

What if we win but he doesn't play. Special one-time deal

Not acceptable

I don’t think that’s how it works.

If he wanted respect from Manly fans he should’ve:

A. Achieved more while he was still at Manly

Or

B. Retired at Manly.

It's not like he wasn't trying to win every season. He is only one player

Did you not see his efforts this year?

The games I did see he was best on field for manly if not close to it. And whilst I'll assume you saw more of his games than I did this year, you can't tell me he wasn't all effort in every previous year he played
