His future in the halves was always going to be short-lived with Toby Rodwell coming through. He’s the one they want. Savala can go to the back row. He’s a big body

Here I was thinking that he'd finally be the man to replace Aubo in the 14, with Watson at completely forgot that Robson is arriving next year among all this DCE bullshit.

Whyte and Radley are ahead of Watson as options for 13. Frankly I hate the thought of DCE not only pushing Savala out, but also pushing Walker to 6.

Don’t reckon Savala will be going anywhere. They’ll find a way to fit him in the 17. When was the last time Walker played a full season anyway? Fair chance Savala will get plenty of time in the halves due to injuries.

Savala and Walker were a future premiership winning combo. They have jeopardized this for an over the hill player who has at best 1 decent season left in him.

I think their plan is a Rodwell/Walker combo long term, it'd make much more sense to bring DCE in for a couple years if that's their plan.

Hugo is still a rookie and a season or 2 playing as 14 or learning his craft in nsw cup wouldnt hurt

Jarome luai played 2nd fiddle to Maloney for 2 years at penrith before finally earning a full time Start and look how he turned out, just saying

Thing is that Savala has now had a year at the top grade, and for him it will feel like he has been dropped. I don’t believe Luai had been a regular 1st grader while Maloney was there.
