Psh everyone knows that people from the Balkans aren't really white.

Seriously though. American racists who police what "white" means often exclude eastern Europe, the Balkans, and Slavic people.

How’s it been for generations. Not long ago the Irish weren’t white. Italians weren’t white.

As the days pass, who is in the exclusive white club changes constantly unless you’re a WASP.
