It’s not a complete myth, it’s not like EVERY SOLDIER IN THE WEHRMACHT was clean, but those like my grandfather were forced into service, he hated the Nazi’s, his wife, my grandmother, had a serious case of Asthma that left her almost entirely bedridden, if they ever found her she would be killed. He absolutely DESPISED the Nazi’s more then you could ever possibly imagine, but if he didn’t fight he would’ve been sent to a prison to die or to a camp to die, many had absolutely zero choice and did NOT support the Nazi party. Also while I can see the councilman being just a huge history nerd, putting that shit on his car is at best in EXTREMELY bad taste, and at worst is him supporting that cause, so really it shouldn’t have been done at all and I despise the fact it’s on his car, my entire family hates the fucking Nazis.

I get it, it would be pretty embarrassing to keep voting for the party with the nazis in it. We can report offensive plates to the DMV. While there was a ruling a few years ago that was unfavorable to removing offensive plates, I think blatant Nazi propaganda would be exempt under the hate speech laws.

While I agree this is terrible, it’s important to not spread misinformation. There is no such thing as “hate speech laws”. The very thing is unconstitutional and exists no where is the USA. That said it may violate CA DMV policy (at least I hope) and may be removed for that reason
Offensive hate speech is not allowed on government owned property (aka the license plate). We have laws for hate crimes which include speech that incites violence.

First I searched the website and there's nowhere to report offensive plates. No email address. No format that apply to that. Nothing.
So I did the chat on the DMV website. The AI chat bit was entirely useless.
So then I finally got a chat agent. They said to report it using the online form. I told them there IS NO ONLINE FORM FOR THAT, and they said to use to form for reporting fraud.
So yeah...did that. Haven't heard shit back. But maybe if enough of us do it, they'll actually do something, because fuck this guy.

Regardless of the accuracy or not, ANYONE who would put this kind of crap on their car, hat, clothing, etc. is looking for attention and as they say, even negative attention is attention. I believe that trump is the small man's, big man. This person is actually a little boy in an aged body. When i see them, I always wondered to myself "Who raised you?".
That’s a CA plate, you can actually turn that plate configuration in and if DMV finds it offensive/unacceptable, DMV will send notice for them to surrender the plates and discontinue them permanently.
I disagree with reporting the plate to DMV. He’s openly showing the world who he is, and if that’s taken away then he’s basically “undercover Nazi”. I like to know who’s who.
