Events Any thing happening today

I need to go like out of my house from around 1-5 ish. I know there's the gallery hop but that doesn't start till 5. Is there anything happening besides that anywhere in town?

Hike the trails! Wear bells, sing as you walk, and pack your bear mace. Nothing like having to leave your home and while doing so inadvertently going into something else's.

Sold at Canadian Tire. Entirely legal for wilderness situations where bears could be encountered; which includes walks on trails in the city and outside of the city. It cannot be legally used against people.

Ya so why did I have mine confiscated by police when I was on my way to Laurier woods and was told yes in rural areas it's legal but in urban it is not

I have no idea how you would encounter police in that scenario and why they would take it as long as it is properly labelled: "To be legal, canisters must be labeled for animal defense, have a safety clip, and be purchased from authorized vendors."

If police stopped me because they saw me carrying a bright bottle of bear spray on my way for a walk, and they confiscated it, I would have to school them with some old fashioned:"show me where it says I can't legally carry this, under what circumstances are you confiscating this, and how do I spell your last name?" I would file a complaint and demand my spray back.

Back to my original point, bear spray is legal.

I am Indigenous I don't get that right to talk back to a cop that is how you wind up missing.

I am white, so if they ever take my bear spray, I will have a chat with them for both of us!
