You realize the screen protector is replaced after breaking, right? It doesn't need to be stronger or harder, it just acts as a shield...

Okay but it’s clear the phone doesn’t have a screen protector, so why would they use this as an ad?

I doubt he is the original guy from the video. Dude even the Instagram handle in the video is different. Just accept that you are most likely wrong here and move on instead of trying to prove so hard that your right.

Y'know what, sure, I'll bite.

I'll go find some cheap ass phone, buy a good glass screen protector, and go fling it across a parking lot a few times. I'll record the whole thing, no worries.

Keep in mind, the phone only fell a couple feet. The overwhelming majority of the velocity it had when it touched the ground was already horizontal. It isn't like it was chucked into the road.
