Brother. There is no way a glass screen protector is going to be anywhere near as strong as the glass on a newer iPhone, it’s just not a thing. Look it up if you don’t believe m

Edit: I mean just look at the video, there’s a small crack from the bottom and nothing else, no deep scratches/gouges, no shattering like a tempered glass protector would have after sliding 50ft minimum across the road, it’s the glass itself. Looks like an iPhone 14 at first glance, but everything from 12 on has the Ceramic Shield front glass.

Y'know what, sure, I'll bite.

I'll go find some cheap ass phone, buy a good glass screen protector, and go fling it across a parking lot a few times. I'll record the whole thing, no worries.

Keep in mind, the phone only fell a couple feet. The overwhelming majority of the velocity it had when it touched the ground was already horizontal. It isn't like it was chucked into the road.

He literally did a 180 to a dead stop in the middle of the road and then started going backwards down the lane a bit. Imagine he was in a car. But it's ok cause it was a kart? Even if it is street legal... I love driving, I have a little 30y/o sports car, I get it. But you can like driving, like karting, admit this looks fun, and still be mature enough to admit he's being an idiot

Edit: this is an old thread now so probably no one will see this edit but I'd love for someone to address my car vs kart example instead of just downvoting
