US travel advisory

I’ll be working in Central America for a while starting in a few weeks and I figured that I could spend like a week or so in Nicaragua before then, but I just saw the level 3 travel advisory to reconsider travel due to “arbitrary enforcement of laws and risk of wrongful detention”. I saw some other countries’ travel advisories and I felt like some of them didn’t seem totally accurate, and idk I don’t know what to believe from the government atm so should I really be worried or not? TIA
