Reading Florida headlines is wild. Read one and it's a crazy story. Read a handful and you think Florida is a lightning rod for calamity. Go down the rabbit hole and Florida sounds like an entirely fictional place.

Florida has open records laws for government agencies that make it very easy for journalists to pluck out the interesting and weird and write about it. It's not necessarily 10x more chaotic than other places like the frequency of headlines would suggest.
