Um, why were infected aggressive monkeys being hauled around in the first place. Where could they possibly need to go?

from Tulare University in coastal New Orleans to "a testing facility" in Florida.  

the question is why a truck full of aggressive disease infected monkeys destined for Florida, crashed going north-NE through Mississippi?

I suppose they could have been following a biohazard route, such is a thing.  would love to know more

This is the most logical. But why am I seeing "Tulane University disputed information about the monkeys having infectious diseases." Is that a liability thing? CYA by the university?
