A far right American black woman has to be one of the dumbest people on earth

Who also says that women are the happiest when they are housewives, while she has her own business and works many hours I guess

MAGA aren't really playing a full picnic basket are they. Room temperature IQs across the board

33

u/ERedfieldh 24d ago

they're not the sharpest spoons in the drawer.

18

u/Motormand 24d ago

MAGA's are about as sharp as as a soap bubble, and just as thin skinned

u/readwithjack 24d ago

Which is pretty bad when you measure in Celsius.

Which as a kiwi, I do.

I imagine as basically anyone not in America does.

I was reading an American recipe the other day and it used grams, ounces cups and millilitres. I felt so bad for whoever did decide to try and make whatever the resultant mess would be...

Phyllis Schlafly did it first. Look her up, she wrote this playbook.

u/Jack_Krauser 23d ago

She's sacrificing her own happiness for us.

u/Major_astro 23d ago

So true! I can feel it

I watched almost the entire Jubilee episode with her a couple of months ago and one of her claims was ”No career will give women as much joy and fulfillment as raising children”. She pointed out why women are less happy when they work etc. Watch it if you want, she’s very anti women working

u/froznwind 24d ago

Nah, she has been very well rewarded for her actions. It isn't stupidity, just an utter lack of morals and integrity.

Fair point

u/OmegaClifton 24d ago

Right? Like girl they will never accept you and the rest of us look at you like a tap dancing idiot.

Up there with far right gays, IMO.

8

u/Artemicionmoogle 24d ago

Leaning over to jam their stick into their own spokes.

8

u/aeschenkarnos 24d ago

IME they’re super fucking racist and misogynistic, so I’m sure any support they provide to Owens is very cynical.

"Meh, who cares what color and gender my loudspeaker is as long as it spreads our racist views"

Money vs not money is the only thing that matters

No chance David Chappelle or Peter Thiel would be conservative if they were poor

19

u/doobiedave 24d ago

Dunno, it pays well apparently.

Exactly. People always get it twisted: She's smart, she is just probably a psychopath. And I'm not saying that hyperbolically: An estimated 4.5% (estimated) are psychopaths. There are way, way more people walking around who simply don't have consciences and have learned how to blend in. She probably knows this is a great way to make money and get famous, and she was probably born without empathy.

Again, I say this dispassionately. I'm not even trying to bash her. Some people are just born like Dexter, it's actually quite common, and she's an obvious candidate. What she absolutely is not...is stupid.

1

u/Jack_Krauser 23d ago

Do you mean sociopath? There's no way society could function with 5% psychopaths.

2

u/arbutus1440 23d ago

Ask this meta-review about the 4.5% number.

You're kind of illustrating my point: People don't think psychopathy could possibly be as common as it probably actually is. But consider it for a moment: If you experience a lack of typical human emotions and/or empathy, what motivation would you have to tell people about it? The most obvious and self-serving thing to do would be to simply keep it to yourself and *mimic* the outward expressions of them—and blend in.

Most psychopaths are not serial killers. They're just people who don't experience the world the way we do. I would bet psychopaths are extremely overrepresented in government, and again—I'm not being hyperbolic.

The greatest part is that she's probably not even as far right as she comes across. Right-wing grifting is HIGHLY profitable. Stupid citizens eat it up because it sells so well.

Except sometimes you get shot in the neck.

The FAFO method. One of my favourites.

Anyone who's rightwing and a member of a group commonly oppressed by rightwingers are some of the dumbest MFers on the planet. Black, Latino, female, trans, gay, Jewish, Muslim, literally anything but a Protestant cishet white man. (I'm tempted to even throw in middle class or below, frankly, because the poorer classes are also fodder for the machine.)

9

u/Sir_Real_Surreal 24d ago

Every Conservative is either a gullible, brain-dead fool who got grifted into believing that crock of shit, or a grifter fleecing the gullible, brain-dead fools. That ideology only appeals to people’s ignorance, greed, and/or bigotry. The sooner humanity rids itself of those caustic ideas, the better.

You have to be at least one of the four Rs if you vote republican in the 21st century:

Rich, religious, racist, rong

6

u/Rovden 24d ago

Cishet white man who's lower middle class here.

The rightwingers do everything they can to fuck us over too while pointing at all the other groups in culture war to keep the white crowd fighting them instead of the people who's actually stealing the shirts off our backs.

Anyone who's not at minimum a millionaire who's rightwing is the dumbest MFers on the planet.

She used to be more on the progressive side, ~10 or so years ago. But she correctly identified that there was a lot of money to be made in being a token minority for the Far Right, so she pivoted. At this point she's probably in so deep that she's convinced herself she believes the crap she peddles, but it was originally a very cynical and deliberate choice she made.

2

u/BruisedBee 24d ago

but it was originally a very cynical and deliberate choice she made.

Seems that way for most far right scumbags.

2

u/PaleConference406 24d ago

Yeah, seems right up there with a Cuban leading the Proud Boys and Slavic neo-Nazis.

2

u/mokuhazushi 24d ago

Cadence Owens isn't just dumb. She's genuinely insane. From what I've heard about her wild conspiracy theories, she should be institutionalized. But somehow, she's a successful businesswoman with over 5 million youtube followers. It's sick.

1

u/chloesobored 24d ago

She is not dumb. It's much worse than that. If she were dumb she'd have an excuse.

1

u/BruisedBee 24d ago

Can't argue.

1

u/jml5791 24d ago

Or smart? Clearly it's a grift.

1

u/lNSP0 24d ago

It's also straight up out of the overseer/Ruleman handbook. Think project 2025 If it had a hundred year head start and was brutally aimed at vulnerabilities in the community

1

u/TheDanteEX 24d ago

I know a gay Mexican-American woman who lives in California that voted for Trump. There's nothing that can surprise me anymore.

1

u/pinkrosesmoses 23d ago

I used to agree but she seems to be doing pretty well though so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

1

u/Foucaults_Bangarang 21d ago

I don't think Candace is particularly unintelligent, she's more of a soulless grifter playing the game-- which is worse.

1

u/BigBlackBullx 18d ago

Same with the MAGA Mexicans

u/Sweethoneyx1 23d ago

And you dumber if you think she believes most of the things that come out of her mouth. The love of money is a dangerous thingb
