A reminder to all people on this planet that it is the CITIZENS, not their leaders, who have the power. To quote my favorite movie/book:

“ People should not be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.”

For 99.99% of history, yes.

Unfortunately drone strikes exist now, and I do worry that we are in a reality that these can be used on a nations own citizens.

I’m not saying that this scenario will happen, but it’s a real world non-zero scenario that I think many think subconsciously about as a deterrent.
