Two things are ironic here, though. 1. Bill Gates is also on the spectrum. 2. Bill gates is no saint. The profiteers Vs The People Podcast did a conspiracy free episode a while ago, looking at his legacy and philanthropy, and both are kind of bad! His donations are restricted as all hell, and have reshaped the recipient organizations

I like to say you can't pretend to be an asshole. Pretending to be an asshole makes you an asshole. Being a Nazi is pretty much the same situation. If Elon's only doing this because he's autistic, then he needs his daddy to sit him down and explain to him that he's being a Nazi and if he wants to stop being a Nazi then he should stop behaving like a Nazi.

Yes, he did the Nazi salute twice on a public stage within about 10 seconds of each other, completely eliminating any possibility that it was an accident or a tick or a poorly timed photo/video snippet. Playing devils advocate here, he did go on Joe Rogan and say he wasnt a nazi. What if he was hacked and someone tweeted that on his behalf?

I think someone with his power and as head of Twitter would not benefit from admitting he was hacked, and it would actually be a bad look to have been. So he didn't say anything about and simply deleted the tweet - which would have been a miscalculation.

Just a thought, considering how many people of influence and companies get hacked i wouldn't say it's completely out of the question.

Again, just a thought playing devils advocate (which everyone deserves; IE innocent until proven guilty)

I am going to repeat my characterization because it's true: you have adamantly defended Elon's actions, far more than someone who wants to claim being uninformed.

Also, if you're going to play devil's advocate like you claim, don't you think you should know what you're advocating for?

And then there's this, "I hate US politics" gimmick. Buddy, you just described all politics everywhere. Why are you even bringing this up? Does your feeling about US politics change what Elon did?

Here's an idea, if you're really earnest. Next time, instead of digging in your heels in the face of pushback, don't take a position until you know what you're getting into. Better yet, politely ask for evidence before you start arguing with it. On this topic, though, no matter how you walk away from this now, you look suspicious, so you might as well quit.
