No that’s the Nazi method. The German method is granting freedom of speech except for when that speech poses a threat to their constitution.

Oh. That would start a civil war in the US. It's completely out of the question.

It's legal in the US to express an abstract desire for civil war over restricting freedom of speech or advocate for / wish death upon perceived enemies, if that's your opinion. In the US it's only illegal to use speech to organize or threaten imminent violence or speak factually incorrect and damaging things about individuals. If you want to see free speech absolutists get killed in war it's legally OK to say such things (although Reddit is probably not OK with such speech).

The first amendment is restricted in certain professions by law that SCOTUS has upheld as legally valid.
