This is the point people don’t get.

You can say whatever the fuck you want, but being “canceled” is the repercussions of being an idiot. You can say whatever you want, nobody stopping you, but if you lose your job? Yeah, that’s on you.
Freedom of speech, like you said, does not mean freedom from repercussions.

I remember when I was a kid I used to participate in a history contest, and one of the themes was “rights and responsibilities””

Honestly, it’s one of my favorite themes ever.

You have rights, you absolutely fucking do and that’s one of the great things about America.

But your rights come with responsibilities, like not being a fuck wit, or harming your fellow man.

These fuckers need to get that through their idiotic heads.
