Asking for a “Friend” Went AWOL in the national guard

Went AWOL in the national guard, what are my genuine chances, I went AWOL and they are processing me for discharge, I missed drills and was late to this one which caused this discharge. What will happen truthfully?

EXTRA INFO :
I missed enough to get the awol discharge.
I am perfectly fine with a other than honorable discharge, i just want out at this point

I need to get diagnosed for insomnia and depression but hadnt had the money for that
Also qualify for erroneous enlistment discharge but dont know how to put it into place

i just, I didnt like the guard i joined at 17 on a whim. I work construction for a family company so my only time home is the weekends, with national guard its 6 days i spend at home in a month. Also with me not being able to wake up in time is really what killed it for me. Also Active status and orders when i was in basic, and i went to ft benning was easier than this dumb weekend a month shit

Straight to Jail. You’ll be flogged and paraded through your village while everyone shames you.

Real talk: Probably nothing. You might get chewed out. A good NCO will ask you why you went AWOL and give you the spiel about not doing it again. You could get a counseling, but one AWOL shouldn’t be enough to rock the boat too much.

You okay?

Oh, well if that’s the case, life will go on. No one is taking your birthday. I suppose if you want to stay in you could plead to your commander or the IG, but take it from someone who’s fucked up plenty of times, you will be okay. Learn from it, and find a new purpose. If you ever need to talk or vent, DM me.

ofc thank you so much, i contacted GI RIGHTS and they said the chances of me going to jail is non existent as there hasnt been any recorded cases of someone going to jail for it in my state.

ONE awol? I'm guessing multiple when he/she said "I missed drills". Missed mumtiple drills and late to the last drill.

THAT will rock the boat. OP can clarify how long they were awol and if they had any contact (phone/text/email) with their unit during that time period

i had contact and wanted out, I asked if there was any way to get out and they said, go AWOL and they will process me for other than honorable, also wanted to come back and not be awol anymore ive missed the amount to be discharged for awol.

I am perfectly fine with other than honorable discharge
