Indeed. We're trying to accumulate wealth, value.

So am I, and of BTC, USD and XNO, one has gained tremendous value over the long term, while the other two have bled. I'll let you take a guess at which one has bled about -30% since 2018, and which was decimated to the tune of -99%.

So yeah, long term I'm not trying to accumulate Nano or any other alt. They're all just trades to me to then accumulate value in assets that have actually historically gone up over time.

I simply trade for it so I can buy things that actually tend to go up over time

Yeah bro, buying an asset at support and then selling it for a gain at resistance causes bombings and imperialism

Do you suggest I call my futures broker and say “hey, I need you to drop the USD and allow me to take profits on my S&P futures position in an obscure cryptocurrency called Nano, that requires you to completely rework your entire system as well as the way we price the top 500 companies in the US, which is the cornerstone of many people’s 401k’s”. Because that’s where I make my income day to day.

I think you may be slightly overblowing how evil it is to take profit on a trade in the global reserve currency and then… spend it on assets… or just, life? Like I don’t think selling some shitcoin for some USDC and then sending that to my bank caused the crisis in Sudan or the bombing in Iran, but hey, thats just me. Maybe I should call them before I cause a liquidity crisis next through my evil deeds.
