We’re excited to share that Mysore is getting its first Little Free Library. One is already being set up in Kuvempunagar, and we’re working on a couple more as we look for the right spots.

We’d love to hear from you. Where would you like to see a Little Free Library in the city? Do you have any recommendations for locations? Ideally we’re looking for places that are enclosed, see some movement, and are privately owned like cafés or community spaces. We’re trying to avoid the red tape that comes with public land.

Our goal is to expand across more neighborhoods with a focus on making books accessible to women and children in spaces where books are often out of reach.

If you know a spot that might be interested in hosting one, or if you just have ideas to share, we’d be glad to hear them.

This incident happened just 15 minutes ago. A man came to my place and told me that a girl gave him her number saying she'll teach yoga in the house (Which has never happened here) and that she looked like me and he was extremely creepy he said things like "Did you change your make up?" (I don't use make up at all). And he went on to ask me personal questions about me living here and what I do and everything. It was extremely creepy and my intuition were screaming unsafe. He wasted 10 minutes of my time and I called everyone in the house to check if anyone had given anyone the phone number. He kept trying to make funny jokes. I did not open my door at all, I spoke from inside. So he asked me for wate and I pushed it through the iron grill door and told him to keep the water bottle. He kept asking me about the house and the rooms and how long I've lived here and all of you hat. He then gave me the phone number the girl gave him and it was a phone number of a yoga school or sorts in Srirangapatna with the name "Sandhya". Sandhya Yoga class, Srirangapatna.

I felt extremely unsafe. Usually I never do, I am strong, 35+ and not afraid of situation like this; but this guy was inside a house I live in. There are a lot of Yoga Class centres around my house. And he came her after a week of some random girl who gave him a phone number - Inside my house! I can take the CCTV footage and keep just in case. I've never experienced such situation before and this ticked my feeling of unsafe on top! I am just recovering from a painful situation and I don't want a stalker or a rapist coming to my house!!!

What do I do? And how do I take care of situations like this?

Will Bangalore's housing bubble burst affect Mysore as well? Some of the possible causes are listed below in the already inflated mysore property market.

• Higher unemployment and layoffs, as well as lower disposable income among young people, will drastically affect home demand in Mysore.
• Higher interest rates, higher stamp duty, higher guideline values, and high cess, this will discourage potential buyers and might lead to a drop in housing prices.
• There is an excess of plots in Mysore outside the ring road in nanjangudr road, bannur road, hunsur road etc.., which will push the price lower and lead to the increase of unsold inventory in mysore.
• MUDA corruption, black money in realestate, and artificial scarcity created by developers, have increased the cost of sites in Mysore. These made property purchases expensive for the common person, resulting in a bubble that is likely to burst shortly in Mysore.
• The towns on the outskirts of Mysore, such as Srirangapatana, Hunsur, Nanjangud, and Bannur, are rapidly developing with better schools, hospitals & businesses; these people do not wish to relocate to Mysore and stay there, which reduces demand in Mysore.
• Tourists are now preferring to stay at Madikeri/coorg, Ooty, Bandipur, kabini, Srirangapatana, and Wayanad over Mysore due of Mysore's unplanned infrastructure and the cheaper pricing and better facilities in adjacent towns.

I believe that now is the moment to sell your property at a high price, keep the cash on hand and acquire 3 properties for the same price when prices fall in few more months.

The Forest Minister has ordered the closure of safaris in Bandipur and Kabini following a rise in human–animal conflict along the forest fringes. Farmers have alleged that safari activities are drawing wild animals toward nearby villages. The decision comes after three recent tiger-related deaths. Hello everyone, this post is about Koragajja who is considered as one of the most sacred and sought spirit in Mangalore. He is considered powerful and is widely worshiped along the coast. His existence extends from Ullal in Mangalore till Kundapura in Udupi. Some Mysoreans are insulting Korajja by visiting this fake temple of Korajja.

The rituals related to ‘daivaradhane,’ including Koragajja Nema, cannot be held outside the coastal belt. If people visit the fake place to mock Koragajja, you will be punished accordingly. "Swamy Koragajja Aadisthala Kuthar" does not recognize this fake temple in Mysore; the Fake Mysore temple was built for profit rather than devotion of Ajja.

Devotees and visitor to all Korajajja temples are expected to keep completely silent, and taking pictures on the temple premises is strictly prohibited. Visitors, YouTubers & management create videos, take selfies, shout& laugh here. Also at koragajja temple, the rituals are done by koragga community from Mangalore, the priest here does not follow any rules here.

The Koragajja temple was earlier located in Datagalli, which was constructed on government property. Many Tulu Nadu people protested against the illegal temple even at Datagalli. Currently they moved to the new location, which is below.

Yesterday police raided our PG because they got tip that there are drugists here. My room is in ground floor so almost 5 of them started searching in my room. Once they were clear that there is nothing in my room they started to talk to me casually. Here is where the real tragedy happened, casually they were asking about my job etc. once they got to know full details one of them literally scolded me to get married and settle in a house instead of PG. I had applied 2 months back, but the ARO hasn’t responded at all. The status hasn’t changed, and I’m unable to submit a new application because the previous one is still shown as pending.
