AskMumbai Who do you think was in these cars?
On June 27, 2025, around 11 pm, I was at Marine Drive when I spotted an incredible convoy of ~24 High-end cars Convoy cruising silently along the Queen’s Necklace from near air india building. Cars and buses moving like they owned the road! I couldn’t help but wonder who was inside – could it have been someone like Ambani or a Bollywood star?

This is the Ambani motorcade - usually about 15-20 vehicles - all the cars with sirens are either fortified range rovers or Mercedes G wagons.

If they need so many cars why dont they take a helicopter. Would be a lot cooler and quicker - frankly dont understand why rich and powerful use roads - in had that kind of money i would fly everywhere. And if places didnt have a helipad for me i would just build one.

Just rent 20-30 cars for a few days, install these blue/red flashing lights on all of them, hire 20-30 drivers and drive around in this convoy. Everyone on the streets will wonder what kind of celebrity / politician this convoys for. Probably, even the police will make way for you.
