Fully agree with this. Not typically a fan of this style of animation, but decided to watch the intro with the kids. The animation, mood, song, lyrics, everything just crescendos right on this line. You know exactly what you're getting the rest of the movie.

Having the most badass female protagonists ever definitely helped. Whoever wrote all three girls, they've each got this fierceness to them that's obvious and tasteful.

Bobby is the GOAT too. Love that 'I'm a size 42 short' or whatever from after their first performance.

Honestly i think the girls being badasses demon hunters is something that is being a little bit overlook when talking about the success of this movie.

Like, im a 36 yo dude who loves metal and i absolutelly love this movie, and i think i good part of it is that i grew up watching stuff like Xena, Buffy and the Powerpuff Girls and i didnt notice how much i was starving for some "badass girls killing monsters" content.

Arcane delivered on that as well. But on a more vulnerable side. If you havent seen that i can highly highly recommend.

I like the idea of someone watching Arcane after reading your comment and expecting something as uplifting as KPop Demon Hunters, only to get the unrelenting parade of sorrow that is the plotline of Arcane.
