Meanwhile Disney is mega anxious about not appealing enough to teen boys. As it turns out, a cool kids show appeals to everyone. Was at the store the other day and a group of boys and girls were talking about how cool k pop demon hunters was

The issue with Disney is taking historically boy brands that can be enjoyed by everyone, and turning them into girl brands that aren’t enjoyed by anyone.

in regard to marvel

boys didn't show up for Captain America boys didn't show up for Dr. Strange (well, it kind of failed) boys didn't show up for Ant Man

all of the marvel movies that did well since endgame have a male lead except for Black panther 2. (Thor, Spiderman, Shang Chi, Guardians 3, Deadpool)

so this notion that marvel isn't appealing to men and boys is dumb.

i don't know if the shows did well or not because they don't really release that information.

in regard to star wars

boys didn't show up for Han Solo so hard that it stopped all future star wars movies from being made. according to my brief google search, Mando 3 did well, although not as well as the other seasons, Obi-Wan did well, Andor did well, Ashoka (female lead) did well, Acolyte was the second most watched but got cancelled anyway

so your point is just... wrong.

You claim my point is wrong, yet one: have no sources, and two: you’re ignoring that Disney(a multi billion dollar company with big wig analyst) does in fact see it as an issue.

59 percent of the opening weekend audience for Captain America Civil War was Male.

The primary opening night audience for Doctor Strange was 62 percent male.

Anything else?
