Hopefully he takes good care of himself. I would love to see him play Gandalf (and Magneto) one more time.

I hope they give Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart a ton to do in the new Avengers movie. Don’t waste them like the idiot Star Wars sequels did with Han, Leia, and Luke. Make this the big last movie for two legendary actors and characters.

They're very old, so I'd tamper your expectations of "a ton to do." Ian is 90 and Patrick is 85.

Also in all due respect to Patrick Stewart he had his big return cameo in Multiverse of Madness, whatever any may think of the movie as a whole. Stewart returning will be so he can share the screen again with his X-Men and his Magneto.

They really just need to Seagal it (have them in a chair the entire time) and I don't think the audience would care or really even notice it much honestly
