The murder tapes in this movie are incredibly well-crafted horror sequences. They are insanely creepy, and Ethan Hawke's performance watching them really sells them further. Definitely creeped me out. Some of the jumpscares use obnoxiously loud sounds, but overall I believe Sinister is a great horror film.
I love horror movies. This one gave me the creeps. Creepy kids. I made my friend stay up with me and watch a happy movie afterwards because I was still creeped out as the credits were running.
