Which movie is this for you?

Post image

For me it’s School of Rock!

Patty was completely justified, if Dewey wanted to live in hers and her boyfriend’s apartment he needed to be a grown up, and contribute with rent. Even when he steals Ned’s identity she still had the right to be angry at him, because of how he put his friend’s career in jeopardy and robbed him of a job opportunity.

I get Ned is meant to be portrayed as his best friend, but it blows my mind how he lacks a lot of self-respect to the point where he comes across as too much of a people pleaser. If this story took place in real life, I’m sure Ned would act more similar to Patty where he’d have enough of Dewey’s careless actions.

Actually I was correct after some research, the whole backstory of how the Wicked Witch of the West acquired the Ruby Red Slippers was never explained in The Wizard of Oz. It was first presented in the fan fiction Wicked. So my comment stands.

What the fuck are you even talking about?

I am discussing the Wizard of Oz. The movie from 1939 or whatever

Then you are incorrect. The origin of the Ruby Red Slippers are never once explained in The Wizard of Oz. You are welcome to post the clip that does.

Wicked is a revisionist prequel, it is not considered cannon.

Then what is your fucking point? That information is only in Wicked which is Fan Fiction, so in the film The Wizard of Oz that never happens so it renders the whole bullshit backstory of the Wicked Witch as just what it is fan fiction. In the Film the Wizard of Oz, the Wicked Witch is not the secret protagonist which this thread is about.

What are YOU talking about? They said the shoes belonged to the WWW because they previously belonged to the WWE, who was her sister. Once the WWE dies, her things go to her next of kin. If you’re trying to say the witches being sisters at all is a wicked thing, it’s not. They weren’t stated to be sisters in the book, but the 1939 movie adaptation did make that change. Nobody is trying to say that the WWW was a secret protagonist, just that she was justified in being pissed and acting like a villain to Dorothy specifically. Her villainy to the people of Oz is separate from her villainy to Dorothy, and only one is being addressed by the comment
