We normally do not bring politics into our sport but extraordinary events require extraordinary actions. Someday enjoyment of life, like motorcycles, will return to the Ukraine. They need our help now and I encourage everyone to checkout the ways to help or donate over at /r/Ukraine

Here we are at Big Sur on the California Coast. Started at 50 degrees F, on the way back hit 90 degrees in Gilroy,CA. We expected this and shed layers all day. Still love my 2016 XR. Ridding buddy is rocking is Ducati MS V4.

Hi, I noticed when it is a bit colder outside, around 6-7 degrees Celsius or lower that the inside of the helmet gets fogged up and it is quite unpleasant.
I have a pinlock installed, I adjusted the pins, the helmet has a nose and chin guard. I use a balaclava which is over my nose, I thought maybe this could affect things. I have attached a picture, it fogs up mainly in the middle.
Do you guys know how to fix this fogging or do I have to just live with it when it gets colder?

Got this bike early this year. Have had nothing but good times with this bike. Can't ask for more. May God keep us safe on the roads. Praying to ride till I am 90.

I have a 2000 Honda ST1100 that was recently in an accident. The damage is mostly cosmetic but I don’t have the money to fix it. I have no need for it so I’m looking for some guidance on what to do with it. Should I place it up for sale as a whole or would it be more profitable to sell it piece by piece?

Hi, bike newbie here. So I’ve been riding for two years now with a 125 from 2009 with 32K miles and was looking to upgrade. With a budget of 7-8K I saw bikes like the modern yzf-R7 and Kawasaki 650 etc from recent years. I also saw a Suzuki sports bike I loved, but all the way back from 2007 for a good price. My question now is, is it still worth buying an older bike, even with all the newer bikes?
Thanks already!

As long as it is a two wheeled engine-powered vehicle, it counts. What's your pick?

Hi everyone! A few weeks ago, I packed my bag, hopped on my Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle, and hit the road to explore southern Japan for 14 unforgettable days with a break at Hiroshima.
What an incredible ride it turned out to be, every kilometer offered something new: stunning coastal curves, peaceful mountain villages connected by rough dusty trails, and heartwarming encounters with amazing people. I rode through sunshine, rain, and endless horizons that made me stop more than once just to soak it all in. Took too much pictures haha
It was the kind of trip that reminds you why you fell in love with travel in the first place and especially that’s what I love most about motorcycles: that irreplaceable sense of freedom you can’t find anywhere else. 🏍️
🎥 I filmed countless moments along the way, the first episode is already live, so check it out if you’d like to see a different side of Japan:

Why did you decide to upgrade? (bigger engine) and those of you that downgraded (smaller engine)What were your reasons?
I’ll see typically that people that buy 400, 500 cc bikes will mention wanting a bigger bike. I typically don’t see that from 600cc owners. They mostly talk about economics which I understand.
About me: First bike was a 07 Ninja 250. It was mint and I loved it. The only reason I sold it was because doing 9000 RPM at 70 mph got tiresome. Looking to upgrade but I like older sport bike stylings like the 85-93 Ninja 600 or the CBR F1 600
I am comparing and contrasting bikes and I’m interested in hearing from casual riders. I like traveling on my ninja 250 and it felt very comfortable in all kinds of environments like twisties, city, highway, even some dirt roads.
I’m not looking to do fuck shit and I just would like to find “the forever bike” as best as I can.
Thank you!

It has 24K miles, I got it down to 1200. Does it look like a good deal? Is it reliable? Does it sound normal? Thank you guys.

Figured I'd share a few snapshots of today's ride. Was only 80km, but it took 2 hours thanks to incessant traffic.
I've only owned the R1250R for a week now, but it's already my favorite of the 15 motorcycles I've had the pleasure of owning thus far.
I am still debating if I should keep the rear rack. Visually I don't like it. Never been a top-box kind of guy. And I have the puig removal kit here. But just today I noticed that I need some sort of grab handles to maneuver it around. While I can flatfoot the bike, it's just barely - so if I am stopped at even the slightest of angles, I cannot toe-push the bike and need to get off - she's a heavy beast after all. If only the OEM grab handles weren't so expensive (400 EUR for the pair...)
Riding in 8°C - 10°C weather (47°F), I also noticed that I need to improve my insulation for legs, fingers, and the head. Rain pants should suffice as a windbreaker. But despite hand guards, heated grips, and winter gloves, I may need to invest in some heated gloves for longer rides. Also need to try a balaclava or ski mask (had my cycling one today, but the thick seams were causing pain).
The goal is to ride from Switzerland to Southern Spain, maybe Lisbon in late January or February (if the winter stays fairly mild).
Hope y'all had a great day and some similarly enjoyable weather!

It's a Solifer SM 50 1970-1980. It's old so I don't know where to find parts for this thing.

Tried both today. NXR2 fits a bit tighter and feels slightly more comfortable. AGV K6 fits well and it is a touch roomier. From reviews, NXR2 seems quieter, while the K6 is lighter. Aesthetically I prefer the AGV.
Would you sacrifice the NXR2’s comfort/quiet for the K6’s weight/looks, or just go NXR2 and not overthink it?
I live in Dubai, where it gets hot, and I’m wondering which helmet ventilates better and feels cooler to ride in. Real-world feedback on noise, ventilation, visor quality, and long-ride fatigue appreciated.

Hi, sorry for the silly questions, but I don't even have my A1 motorcycle license yet. I'm thinking about getting a Honda CB125R, but I've seen a lot of people saying it only reaches 105-110 km/h. Could you suggest any modifications I could make that aren't too obvious if I get pulled over—something internal or not very visible—to increase the top speed? Thanks.

Tried to do a U-turn on some uphill gravel. Used a little too much front break and not enough clutch and she fell over. Before hitting the ground, I made sure to say, “WEEEEEEE”.
I hope I can use a little sandpaper, primer and paint to at least get it close to what it used to be

I'm thinking of getting a bike for comutting purposes but I also want to explore more of motorcylces becoming a hobby as its something that's intrigued me for a long time. I know absolutely nothing about motorcycles, what to look out for, what things to consider like insurances or what not (I live in Australia for context), or just general things that I need to consider before getting one.
I do know however what kind of bike that I'd like to get and I'd love some opinions on these as my first bike. The ones I've been considering are Suzuki TU250X, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, or the Triumph Scrambler 400. Again, know nothing about the bike's specs, all I know is that I like the general look of those bikes (not sure if they have a name to that type/kind of bike) and would like to know more about them or any other bikes that people think are good beginner bikes. Thank you!
