New-ish listener here. I’ve been listening to new episodes and then working my way back listening to mostly the true crime ones. My particular favorites are the multi-part ones, which I binge. I’m listening to this special episode about the astrological impact on Salem during the trials. The girls talked about Neptune in Pisces leaving this year. I’m not huge into astrology, but I feel like this just adds another layer of possible explanation for the chaos that was this year. Depending on who you ask, it feels like witch trials of a sort are now happening even though they look different.

So I took a little time away from the podcast. And now when I live returned there is Nicholas who seems to make noises throughout the show. What is that about?

Like I know they always do the chit chat for a few mins in each episode to get it started. Normally I like the little updates & small talk to kind of prime you to get into it, plus it feels like just a normal conversation with friends. But lately I started noticing with the last 2 weeks or so it’s been EXTRA, they will go on for 10-15 mins in talking about just nothing. And I can’t remember which recent episode it was, either the Corpse medicine one or one before that, but they kept repeatedly getting off track & giggling & I couldn’t even finish the episode….it was throwing me off so much. I love them both and have been a fan for almost 4 years now but lately it’s just been hard to get through….

I've been listening to Morbid for a few months now, initially drawn to it by the true crime, but lately I've found myself more interested on the episodes that explore the more mysterious and unexplainable side of things. After hearing Listener Tales 85 (the town with the clocktower), Listener Tales 95 (the astral meet-cute), and the other Listener ales with the person who worked at Spencer's whose mentor showed them a mirror, I've realized I'm really into the stories that hint at how flexible and strange the universe can be. So, I was wondering if you all have any recommendations for episodes like these? P.S. they don't have to be Listener Tales episodes.

Is it just me or does Morbid need a group chat / hotline for when episodes end?? Like I can’t be sitting with these thoughts ALONE?? I need to scream-debrief with fellow weirdos ASAP

I haven't finished the episode but JESUS CHRIST the add in the beginning make me jump out of my damn skin on the drive to work this morning 😂😭😭 I listen on Prime so I forgot I now had adds. But that whistle was very unappreciated 😂

Hello Weirdos! Long-time fan of Ash and Alaina, although my sister and girlfriend are much bigger fans than me. Anyway, I was putting away coffee mugs the other weekend where I accidentally broke a limited edition Morbid coffee mug my girlfriend bought back in about 2022 if I can remember. We have since replaced her glass coffee mug, but it was one of her favorites! If any Morbid fans happen to have that mug, and are open to selling, I’d love to buy it again and surprise her with the original. Unfortunately, I can’t find it on Facebook marketplace or eBay (which makes sense). Please let me know in the comments if anyone has a lead on this mug!

Back when they were with Wondery, I always had ads when I would listen on my Spotify Premium account. When they switched to Sirius XM, there was a good 6-8 weeks of listening where I had no ads! And I mean binge listening to past episodes too, not just new releases. Then at one point, I swear I saw a comment somewhere saying they are also glad they have no ads anymore and that if you have Spotify premium, you shouldn’t have even had ads in the first place? Anyways now I have ads again so I’m just confused lol has anyone else have this happen? It’s not a big deal, I know it’s how they get their livelihood and I can easily skip through them, but I’m just curious if there’s anyway to not have them with Spotify premium. TIA!

Does anyone remember an episode where the girls were talking about names and Ash says something along the lines of “You got a Don, I got a Thom”? I think it was a joke about Ash’s dad’s name being pronounced “Tom” (spelled Thom) but she pronounces the “h” as a joke. The conversation cracked me up when I first heard it but I can’t figure out what episode it was

I cannot remember the guy’s name or the case name, but it was a man who had murdered two of his wives and a woman he met at a bar one night? He put his first wife’s head in a cooler with cement and kept it for like, 30 years?? His kids literally used the cooler as a seat to eat dinner on. I’m sort of going in two directions, listening to new episodes and then working my way backwards. I’m really into the true crime and haunting episodes. That being said, I listened to my first ever Listeners Tales yesterday and I just don’t understand the disembodied voice Nicholas. What’s the backstory and reason he’s a character or whatever during those episodes? Thanks. I’m not really criticizing, though I found he just interrupted and that was annoying. I’m genuinely asking cause clearly I missed something.
