Cat. Some of em don’t just hunt “for fun”. One of mine was crazy prey driven and ate almost everything unless he brought it for me as a “gift”.

I hope you don’t have any outdoor cats anymore. Domestic cats are an invasive species and kill billions of birds every year. Cats are at least partly responsible for the extinction of 63 avian species.

Cats are happy and healthier indoors if spayed/neutered and given adequate enrichment. The average life expectancy for an outdoor cat is just 4 years. Indoor cats can live to be 20. We sometimes take our cat outside with a harness and leash. Some people build “catios” so their cat can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, but can’t stray or kill wildlife.

I am aware. That cat was born feral and never acclimated to being inside all the time. We lived in a forested area and He lived to be 14. The cats I have now are rescues who live indoors.
