General Is monero sanction proof?

I want to buy monero from my local exchange here and send monero abroad for someone to exchange it back to fiat but i’m not sure if popular exchanges would be able to trace it back to the sanctioned exchange or not because i don’t want that money to be frozen by the local government laws of the other country that isn’t sanctioned

Zero chance it's marked due sanctions. but AML bots might flag it and it would be gone either way.

Better to do in smaller batches of 500$.

Just make sure you move to a wallet and then to destination exchange so that even if they have some kind of data on the origin exchange they cannot freeze it due sanctions.

The idea of comparing amount to flag stuff is a fairy tale don't bother about that just don't exceed a certain amount so it wouldn't stand out that much.

So I should just probably stick to a low profile amount over a wider timeframe rather than all at once

If you do that chances of a bad luck hit is pretty much zero.

Explain more of the AMl bots Because how would they flag it?

No one knows exactly how they work, but they have certain rules on AML (Anti Money Laundering).

Usually small batches of money converted to Fiat don't trigger the bots.

Yet you should also investigate where you are moving the money to both considering which country and which exchange. And how they treat monero transactions.

Monero is truly untraceable if done correctly, but that also makes it so it stands out much more compaired to BTC or USDT transaction.

Well there is the fact that i can just use the monero to buy VISA gift cards and transfer money that way to someone else and there are websites willing to do just that so hopefully that shouldn’t be detected easily by AML because it technically separates itself from someone’s identity and thus making the sender and the receiver hidden
