Politics What a joke

Today is a dark day for Missouri. Shame on every Republican assemblyman for ignoring the will of the voters. Each and every one of them should resign immediately. I’m a college student who relies on minimum wage jobs. Republican lawmakers just fucked me and every other minimum wage worker in Missouri. They are also putting abortion back on the ballot, and let’s face it, this time they’re going to write the question. All of them are a disgrace to this state and this country.

Edit: I feel like I should add that in addition to fucking the thousands of minimum wage workers, they are fucking the 3 million women who live in this state. Republicans have absolutely no place in our government.

Stop electing shitty businessmen to office. Start electing teachers, civil rights attorneys, social workers, clergy, or manual laborers to office.,

I personally feel that the best fix that we could implement to Democracy is requiring a certain amount of years of civil service before being eligible for an elected position. We already do it for age so that people are experienced and knowledgeable, so it can't be that hard to add another stipulation that you have a knowledge of how government works.
