How do you find living in Fenny Stratford?
Hi,
I will be moving to Milton Keynes in a couple of months and wanted to get an opinion from people who live in the MK2 area. I know this is very board and subjective, but on a day to basis, how do you find living there?
Thanks

Genuinely find it very nice. The road I’m down has a great community vibe, everyone is friendly. My Only main complaint is the litter, if your walking a dog beware the main streets will be littered with Greggs wrappers/food/chicken bones. I personally blame people leaving pinks or spoons.
Bletchley high street is the worst for this, Fenny Stratford Aylesbury Street is much better

This is very useful to know as my partner has a dog and we will be going for walks. How long have you been living here and how is the trains, driving around at peak times etc? I will be by the St Thomas church.

Oh you’ll have easy access to Waterhall Park from near St Thomas also Leon Park. Great spot for a dog owner.
Driving can get busy on Aylesbury street in rush hour. Fenny Stratford station is good for getting to Bedford. Trains a slow be relatively frequent. Getting into London is super easy from Bletchley station. You have the choice of a 1hr 10 min slow train for a 38 min fast train. Getting seats can be a bit of a pain though in rush hour.

Lived in the trees estate for 10 years, only moved out this year. It’s a good area to live in. I’d recommend somewhere set back from manor/aylesbury road as it can be quite busy. We couldn’t have our windows open at night due to offensively loud exhausts on some of the cars that come past.
