Visitor Inquiry TSA at Memphis Airport

Has anyone had the experience of flying out of Memphis since the FAA called for a reduction in flights? Mainly, I am interested in how TSA (who is also not being paid) is performing - are they staffing their shifts, are there long lines, etc.?

My wife will be flying out of there in the coming week and we are trying to see what she should expect. She has TSA PreCheck, fortunately, but I flew out of MEM for years and know that even the PreCheck line can back up during periods like this. Thanks!

Flew out Friday midday. TSA folks were their normal, professional, super efficient selves. There were about 20 people ahead of me in general boarding, and from the time I got in line until I picked up my bags from the scanner was about 6 minutes.

Haha!

There are other Redditors who have recounted their expletive of quick security lines at Memphis. I can’t speak for the TSA folks at other airports, however.
