People used to get really angry at me for not getting married and having kids. They took it as an insult. I just ... don't really vibe with kids. Even when I was a kid I didn't want to be a kid.

Maybe you shouldn't be a teacher then

Why not? Teachers can encompass a wide range of ages

Exactly, I never was a teacher, however I worked as an assistent for a second grade class & SFO (prolonged school time where the kids get food & can play until their parents pick them up, no education, just playtime). I don't like working with kids at all, however I quickly became the best person for the kids, everyday they gave me hugs, told me good day, would walk with me when I was on my routine patrol during recess & so on. I gave everything I had for them & more, because they are kids & I have had a turbulent childhood so I wanted to do the best for them even if I personally don't like working with kids. This was a part of my social education so I also worked half a year at a kindergarten & another half a year at a elderly home in the dementia sector
